    ISLAM MAHDY

    Chairman & CEO

    Islam Mahdy is a purpose-driven hospitality leader dedicated to creating transformative destinations and experiences that immerse guests in the artistry of his heritage. With nearly three decades of success, he has consistently positioned his ventures among the top 5% in their markets. He led Credence Hospitality Developments to set new benchmarks in sustainable and experiential hospitality, earning recognition from the World Bank Group’s IFC. He holds degrees from Babson, Stanford GSB, and a PhD from Imperial College.

  • OSAMA HAMED

    Managing Director

    Osama Hamed brings over 40 years of hospitality leadership to his role as Managing Director of Credence, where he has led expansion, operational excellence and strategic consolidation across the Hurghada portfolio. A graduate of the E.G.O.T.H. Hotel Institute in Alexandria (1982), he began his career with Sheraton and Renaissance. Since joining Credence in 1992, he has transformed Sindbad Beach Resort from a 52-room hotel into a 1,500-room destination, earning international awards for quality and innovation.

    Director of Finance

    Kamal Saad has been a cornerstone of Credence’s financial strategy since 1997, rising from accountant to Director of Finance in 2020. A graduate of Mansoura University’s Faculty of Commerce, he has consistently led finance operations with clarity, diligence, and foresight. Kamal’s steady leadership ensures fiscal discipline, transparent reporting, and alignment with the company’s long-term strategic goals. His reputation for resilience, accuracy, and integrity continues to define his role as a trusted financial steward at Credence.

    Director of Talent & Culture

    Amir Elsayed is an accomplished HR executive with a background in law, diplomacy, and hospitality. A Harvard Leadership Program graduate with a master's degree in international law, he held senior roles at Hilton and Marriott, leading major hotel conversions and cultural transformations. A former UNDP volunteer and human rights advocate, Amir brings a rare blend of global perspective and people-first leadership to Credence, where he now oversees talent strategy, training, and organizational culture transformation.

    Director of Quality

    Ahmed Kafafy is a quality and EHS leader with two decades of experience in the hospitality sector. At Credence, he steers quality control, assurance, environmental health and safety across operations. Certified in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 22000, Ahmed has championed guest satisfaction programs, complaint-resolution platforms that elevate service standards. His track record includes securing global recognitions like the Travelers’ Gold Certification and 5 Green Stars, reinforcing Credence’s commitment to operational excellence.

  • MOHAMED BEKHEET

    Director of Procurement

    Mohamed Bekheet brings over 30 years of financial and procurement expertise to his role at Credence. He began his career at Sindbad Group in 1991 as Head Casher and later led the procurement division. With a BSc in Commerce and fluency in English and Arabic, Mohamed is known for his strategic foresight, professionalism, and strong supplier networks. Mohamed is integral to ensuring cost-efficiency, supply chain integrity, and operational continuity across all Credence properties. 

  • SAMEH ABDEL FATTAH

    Director of Engineering

    Eng. Sameh Abdel Fattah has over 25 years of experience in marine and resort engineering. A graduate of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, he joined Credence Hospitality Developments in 1997 and progressed from Marine Engineer to Director of Engineering. Known for his innovative mindset, leadership, and practical solutions, Sameh leads infrastructure development and technical operations with reliability and precision, ensuring long-term asset performance and environmental responsibility.

  • HAITHAM HAMDY

    Director of Hotel Sales

    Haitham Hamdy leads hotel sales at Credence, focusing on strategic growth and market expansion. After graduating from the Faculty of Physical Education in 2000, he transitioned into hospitality, working his way up from receptionist to Director of Sales at Tropicana Hotels, where he served for eight years. Since 2020, he has brought his sales expertise and fluency in English and Italian to Credence, driving revenue and client engagement. His leadership remains key to the group’s ongoing success.

    Director of Experiences Sales

    Shady Ali is a results-driven sales leader focused on B2B growth, revenue growth, and experiential market expansion. With a background in operations leadership, he has optimized account management and sales strategies across Credence’s experience-driven offerings. Fluent in English and Arabic, with working knowledge of Russian, Shady bridges cultural and professional gaps, strengthening client relationships and public relations. His approach makes him a key player in expanding Credence’s experience-based footprint.

    Director of Sindbad Club

    Ahmed Ezzat is a veteran hotelier with strong operational and commercial expertise. After studying at the Tourism and Hotels Institute in Kuwait, he joined Sindbad in 1997 following early roles with Helnan. Rising through the ranks from Sales Manager to Director of Sales & Marketing, he now leads Sindbad Club as Hotel Director. Known for his calm leadership and commitment to service excellence, Ahmed plays a central role in maintaining the club’s highest service standards and operational continuity.

    Director of Serry Beach Resort 

    Amir Nagy is a senior hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of experience in luxury operations, guest experience, and pre-opening leadership. As Hotel Director of Serry Beach Resort, he helped define its service philosophy and guest journey. Amir began his career at Four Seasons and held key roles at Fairmont, Waldorf Astoria Cairo, and Emaar Hospitality. His people-centric approach, hands-on leadership, and talent for building high-performing teams make him a trusted force in Egypt’s five-star hospitality scene.
